To follow up on this, I think the consensus we've come to in the judges' Discord chat is that a template that involves mixer settings or the selection of non-notation-related plugins is fine, but selecting specific samples or creating melodies/riffs to use is not. It does, thank you. I've since looked into formatting things to save as an actual template and now any new projects will be 'started' on the current day, rather than 2020 lol. Thanks for looking into it, glad I can still enter! 😁
