Pico Day was originally created in the forums in 2006 and they chose my birthday, April 30th, as the event date.
We’ve kept Pico Day going every year since but I’ve tried to nudge it back gradually because April 30th feels weird, like I’m throwing myself a birthday party.
There’s confusion this year because the FNF Crew announced they were gonna release the latest FNF update on Pico Day, April 30th, however Pico Day this year was set for June 11th. The FNF update has also since been postponed to a later date so none of these things are happening today.
However if you uploaded something today intended for Pico Day, be sure to tag it with picoday2022 and it will still be included in judging for prizes after June 11th!

If you’re wondering what I’m doing for my birthday, I got Covid! I was vaxxed and boosted but it finally found my family. I’ve been able to keep plucking away on the computer despite not feeling great.
