Leekscript
For those who knows, take this imaginary bonus point!
Me personally I enjoy
- ActionScript
- JavaScript
- My own language for Flash (not really a language more of custom keywords that perform the same action)

just like what they said “C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot; C++ makes it harder, but when you do it blows your whole leg off”
The amount of C# enjoyers here makes me happy.
I want to try Ruby soon.
Since C++ and JS are the only languages I work with, i'd say those two in that order.
I do know HTML, CSS and some Java, but I don't use any of these languages much anymore

I only know basics of HTML and CSS

you mean Turing Complete and while it's common to define a coding/programming language as any language that is Turing Complete, I don't personally agree with that definition. In my definition a coding language is any language that can use variables and conditional logic to produce an output. There's none of that in HTML hence it's not programming, but you do with non-Turing complete languages like SQL or an implementation of pure-regex.

(I know this thread is old but I am going to say it anyways) AS2 is the most basic language (I would argue it is more user friendly than python) I know and works very well, but unfortunately has barely been used since the late 2000s due to AS3 giving various features that AS2 was lacking, but even AS3 is unused due to how outdated flash really is (the death of flash was really the final nail in the coffin alongside adobe flash being renamed to adobe animate removing AS2 from it as a whole) and the modern alternatives practically taking over. But AS2 is a very effective language if you want to get into programming. But more popular options nowadays is javascript, C++ (and all the different C languages). And are more effective, but not as user friendly and is much more advanced languages.
