The moon is a bit more than one-fourth (27 percent) the size of Earth, a much larger ratio (1:4) than any other planets and their moons. Earth's moon is the fifth largest moon in the solar system. The moon's mean radius is 1,079.6 miles (1,737.5 kilometers).

The invariant mass of an electron is approximately 9.109×10−31 kilograms, or 5.489×10−4 atomic mass units. On the basis of Einstein's principle of mass–energy equivalence, this mass corresponds to a rest energy of 0.511 MeV.

Protons have a positive electrical charge of one (+1) and a mass of 1 atomic mass unit (amu), which is about 1.67×10−27 kilograms

Falling raindrops hit 5 to 20 mph speeds. Wonderquest. Albuquerque: 19 Dec 2001. "At sea level, a large raindrop about 5 millimeters across (house-fly size) falls at the rate of 9 meters per second (20 miles per hour). Drizzle drops (less than 0.5 mm across, i.e., salt-grain size) fall at 2 meters per second (4.5 mph)."

Sun is a bright, hot ball of hydrogen and helium at the center of our solar system. It is 864,000 miles (1,392,000 km) in diameter, which makes it 109 times wider than Earth. It's 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit (5,500 degrees Celsius) at the surface, and 27 million degrees Fahrenheit (15,000,000 degrees Celsius) in the core

The nearest star to Earth, Proxima Centauri (a member of the triple system of Alpha Centauri), has a parallax of 0.76813", meaning that its distance is 1/0.76813, or 1.302, parsecs, which equals 4.24 light-years.

In many areas of physics, there are various symmetries associated with a physical theory.

At low energies, some of the symmetries can be broken, as shown below. In this case, the theory has continuous rotation symmetry that is broken by the ground state particle.

The Goldstone theorem dictates that one massless boson (Goldstone boson) is associated with each spontaneous broken continuous symmetry.

Vaccines mimic the virus or bacteria that causes disease and triggers the body’s creation of antibodies. These antibodies will provide protection once a person is infected with the actual disease-causing virus or bacteria.

The surface area of Jupiter is 6.21796×10 10 km 2. And just for comparison, that’s 122 times more surface area than Earth. And finally, the mass of Jupiter is 1.8986×10 27 kg. That’s enough mass for 318 Earths. In fact, Jupiter is 2.5 times more than the mass of all the other planets in the Solar System

Physicists sometimes have to resort to fancy calculation tricks to extract answers.

One such example is dimensional regularisation where a physicist would solve a problem in a d-e dimensional space and e is a small number that is not an integer and finally taking e to 0.

Another tool is to analytically continue to imaginary time that converts the problem to one stated in a better behaved Euclidean space.

One issue with the big bang model is that it does not explain why cosmic background radiation is so uniform. (Uniform background radiation implies the observable universe has been in thermal equilibrium whereas calculations show that the observable universe should consist of one million disconnected regions that do not interact with one another.

Inflationary cosmology provides a solution: During inflation, the Hubble sphere (beyond which objects recede from us quicker than the speed of light) shrinks so that two regions that appear to be causally disconnected at present time could have been in thermal contact at earlier times.

Thermodynamics is the study of the relations between heat, work, temperature, and energy. The laws of thermodynamics describe how the energy in a system changes and whether the system can perform useful work on its surroundings.

Dry water, an unusual form of "powdered liquid", is a water–air emulsion in which tiny water droplets, each the size of a grain of sand, are surrounded by a sandy silica coating. Dry water actually consists of 95% liquid water, but the silica coating prevents the water droplets from combining and turning back into a bulk liquid

Sumer was an ancient civilization founded in the Mesopotamia region of the Fertile Crescent situated between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. Known for their innovations in language, governance, architecture and more, Sumerians are considered the creators of civilization as modern humans understand it.
