Went there once all dressed up in rainbow stuff and covered in powdered color after a color run and people probably thought we were weird but it was the only place we felt was trashy enough for us to go in looking like that.
Denny's refused to serve alcohol to me and my friend one time. Aparently they won't serve you if you appear to be any kind of intoxicated. So we ordered a bottle of liquor from the liquor store. They delivered it to Denny's and we just started drinking rye right there at Denny's. I think we got kicked out before our food showed up.

I don't eat in carpeted restaurants they always smell funny to me. Carpets trap odors and food particles that spoil

A couple of years ago some friends and I went to a Dennys. I saw a star wars cup was included as a promotional item for a kids drink, and I wanted it, but I wanted an iced coffee at the same time. With extreme confidence (or stupidity) I told the server that I wanted the iced coffee served in the star wars cup. I can clearly remember how fast the guy's face changed from normal to completely confused/weirded out and I thought it was hilarious. Got my coffee in a cup made for children anyway. 10/10 would do again.

Denny's once had a Fant4stic themed menu. I remember the skillet being good, but that was like 6 years ago.
