So the only way I see how to do it, is posting a link, and then you click it and go to youtube or w/e site it directs you to. But how do you post a video to where it's directly on the thread page? To where you can play the video right there, and the video already shows itself right there on NG?

Youtube should have an embed button for you to push on and get a code from. It's located under this share button then under embed.
Then click on this little guy and copy the code into it. Should work.
