What's so social about looking at your phone screen at the dinner table etc.
Social needier makes you weak, impotent, angers your ancestors and weakens your bloodline.
I'm joking for effect, but I'm dead serious that we are all USERS on the internet, it just looks prettier than in the 90s.
It's still the same system, at it's roots - and if you get fabulous about it, then someone out there thinks you are an idiot.
Social media has no core or centre (NG example - the arts. etc.), it's all about MMEEE MEMEME EMEM.
I can understand sharing photos, but that leads to selfies.... I guess I can't talk. Anyway....
What's worse is something known as 'The Feed'. On Facebook you might have been aware of it if you have used that website. It's like, got a fucking disgusting name especially because they are literally force-feeding you content, randomly generated much like dogfood with all random bits and grits. Yuck bro.
I hate that shit. /rant
"Don't post that, it's so public!" - Someones outcry to a shitposter on Facebook (ie. Me, some time ago). But the facade of publicity is complete bollocks. Using the internet is a private experience because of our relationship with the screen and our eyes. It's not like we're at a picnic and it's not even a shared experience if you are browsing the web with another person. That's the DEFINITION of freedom. To make you believe we're all here together doing the same fucking thing is simply a logical fallacy that has masses acting kinda dumb.
See this picture below? It's one of those dumb quotes signed by someone you've never heard of and present in a quiche manner to appeal to base instincts. This person is taking a courageous stand, but actually they aren't, they've tripped on the logical falacy I presented above and became part of the problem. I hope this clears stuff up for people. I'm sure many of you don't like it, but now you have a better understand of why it's dumb as fuck.
It's the Koolaid they warned you about - and it waters people down.
