Okay, something which isn't mine maybe? I'm looking to draw some ideas.

Combination, I guess.

I tried to do something different with my website. It's ok but it probably doesn't work for everyone. That is why I don't think there is any right answer. What people find aesthetically pleasing is pretty unique from person to person. But it seems like to me the modern/minimal approach seems to be quite popular.

Hmm, OK. Well, I like CreoMusic's website. It's really simple, effective, and gets to the point. When you go to it, his music is right there, and on the side is all the contact info. I see that it's based on Bandcamp, but I still really like it.

Uh, it's not based on Bandcamp; it IS a Bandcamp page. Even has the actual watermark of Bandcamp at the very base of the page. :/ AFAIK all he did was add his domain name.

I always enjoy to go on gorillaz website in the old days.. It was so intertaining and well put on! I can't even say more that it was a really good site back then! Now its just rubish and scraps from the past. The tumblr as gone wild in this recent years, so yeah, I have not really go on it ever since..

Aah, I remember the old Gorillaz website. Now it is quite minimalistic, but... loads several times to the point that I'm not even sure what it's trying to do.
