Welcome all! I'm pretty new to digital art (just started last month) so I'd love feedback. I'm still trying to find a solid style but I generally prefer the less serious side of life. Right now I'm drawing with my laptop's touchpad and GIMP so it's not as perfect as I'd like it to be. I'm hoping to scrape up enough for a nicer program and a tablet soon.

My SO took a picture of himself and I decided to try my hand at it. He said "make sure you can see the emptiness inside". First time I've ever managed to make a nose look like a nose.

Got my very first art tablet! I'm already noticing how much faster I can get things done. It's the cheapest Wacom available near me at the moment, the Intuos Draw. Still trying to get used to it though.

I just got ArtRage Lite and it is absolutely marvellous! My linework has never been this good outside of traditional pen->paper drawing! Here's a little something I made while fadoodling about with the tools.

Just a sketchy doodle because I was bored. I wasn't too worried about it looking clean, just trying to work on my character expressions.

Thought I'd show off a little something I'm working on. Just solid basic colours so far, still need to shade and fix the eyes a bit. I have no idea what the final idea is for my background, I might just leave it as the black/white. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm also debating making the bulb a single colour, but I'm also really stuck on multi-colour. Ack!
