Commando (1985), with Arnold Schwarzenegger. It contains my favorite movie quote: "You know, when I was a boy and rock and roll came to East Germany, the Communists said it was subversive... Maybe they were right."

Home Alone 2. Merry Christmas everyone!
I watched Krampus after years of putting it off thinking it would be cheap and trashy. It's now among my favorite Christmas movies.
Leave No Trace is a beautiful, heartbreaking movie. Ben Foster deserves to be as well loved as Michael Fassbender or Joaquin Phoenix.

It's like the beautiful, demented love child of Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, Gremlins, Puppet Master, and Troll Hunter.

I enjoyed the Krampus movie as well, especially the tragic story behind it all. However, I was so desensitized to PG-13 violence that the battles seemed a bit low key compared to NCIS.
You can probably imagine Omi kicking herself when she realized that she could've saved the village, her entire family, and possibly all of Europe from Weimar Germany and the rise of Hitler had she taken a stand like her grandson did.
Currently watching the Armitage III OVAS
Final Destination
Sleepaway Camp 2
i am not currently watching this...
Watching masters of the universe,it's such a weird movie..
Watched a few last week during my week off work.
Doom (2005) - First time ever watching it and I really wasn't expecting much from this film to begin with but holy shit, so little of it had anything to do with the franchise. If anything, it was trying to be more like an Alien film than Doom. You're waiting about 80 minutes of it to make it feel like anything from the video games.
Aliens (1986) - Because it was needed after Doom and is always a film to rewatch time and time again. Personally my favourite film in the series.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) - Heard a lot of good things about this Spider-Man film so finally gave it a chance while it's on Netflix and gotta say, it's a damn good fun movie. The animation style is weird at first but easily got used to it as it worked with a comic style to go with it.
Inception (2010) - First time ever watching this film the other day. Given its length and its complex storyline, I was only ready to watch this when I had a good mindset to do so. Now that I've seen it, it's good but I don't feel it's as good as the critics make it out to be.
Sucker Punch (2011) - This one was watched during a sesh with one of my friends but tbh was too many beers in while watching this but either way, it seems to be a film to rewatch due to how things are easily missed the first time around.
Some flim noir thing about a musical box but i stopped 3/4 of the way to watch animes and shit.
Just got done watching Vice a few days ago. It's a very enjoyable and interesting movie, even if it's not exactly historically accurate. I love movies where you see the main character just build power slowly overtime (think something like Scarface).
Christian Bale's performance is easily the best part of the movie. He infamously did an immense amount of research on Cheney and it pays off very well. He even looks just like Cheney, no doubt in part because of the weight Bale gained and the fantastic makeup. There's also some scenes that stuck with me because of how unexpected they're shown in the movie. One example is when Dick and Lynne both go into a Shakespeare soliloquy before they start making love.
Dick Cheney is an extremely interesting person to learn about, so this movie was just my cup of tea. I recommend it, but make sure to do your own research on Cheney and other events that happen in the movie. The film can go into dramatic hyperbole and even gets some events/terms factually wrong. The film mentions the "Unitary Executive Theory" multiple times and describes it as the President having total power over everything. That isn't true, as it's describing the President having total power over the executive branch. Since I knew some of this going in, I watched the film more as a character study than a historically accurate biopic. I don't know if that's exactly how they wanted people to watch it, as they mention in the intro that it's "their best guess" on how important events went down in Cheney's life. but I think it works better than expecting total accuracy.

I watched Magnolia last night, and it's pretty much all I can think about right now. Man, 1999 was a good year for movies, wasn't it?

Honestly yeah. I love the aesthetic most movies of that time had.
