This was the result of my first attempt, its a really interesting study to do i think :P I'll be sure to, but now you can't complain when i pester you with questions mwahaha :D

Now try it again and try to make it better than the last time.. if you succeed ( which you most likely will.. ) compare the two and already see how much you've learned.. that should give yourself a nice motivational boost ;)

Was doing another asaro head but i wasn't feeling it, so i designed a reverb pedal instead! If i could construct pedals and print this on it would be pretty fun to do

Does anyone else get really nervous before inking in a sketch, because you lose that magic of the pencil?

cool stuff man, the selportrait is really cool. Did you do that from life/mirror or photo?
If you want to do selfportraits and practice your values, try keeping it black and white and start with a canvas thats 50% grey and then work your way around making darker shapes and lighter shapes to build up / sculpt your painting. its great practice! :)

Thanks man! The self portrait was done from a photo! Yeah i've seen quite a few people do that and i've yet to give it a try! Thanks for the feedback!

Reckon I should post a update here seen as I got pretty exciting news, I got my course to study graphic design in college! While doing so I'll be studying illustration (independently) at the same time so I should be pretty busy for a few years! So yeah this is a cool step into a new phase of my studying art I guess, also here's a picture I did a few days ago of this weird creature thing

I'm struggling with trying landscapes. I'm not good at them so i keep trying to paint the but i give up on every one of them. Hopefully i'll force myself to finish this

So two days ago my pc broke, windows got corrupt and everything wiped, which is lovely. So I reckoned I'd do some traditional painting until it's fixed. I'm posting this photo case I thought it would be a interesting comparison, it's the last traditional I did, which was a year ago. Back then I was only interestin mes in texture and emotion so it'll be interesting to see the result of what my studies has done to affect my traditional painting! Hopefully in not too spoiled by ctrl z
