Finding freeware for animation 2015-09-23 02:44:29

I was a game animator, and now I am School Technical Supporter
My School give me a task to make an educational cartoon to teach student something.

My School computer have Illustrator 8.0, Photoshop Element and Premium- pro Element
and No flash

No budget on new software and I cant use cracked software
(I known that are many way to find a cracked Flash)

I can draw some character in Illustrator or Photoshop and can Export it as Layered AI/PSD
Spike Sheet with animation or Spread Body
GIF/PNG sequence
but I find no software to animate it

I found some software but i stuck in some where
Synfig: Always Crash when it Open
Pencil/Tupi: I can input PNG sequence but i cant move the charator in all frame
(Pencil and Tupi is a hand draw animat)
Pivot Animator: we can skeleton the stick only
Scratch: it cant make animation about 15FPS

Someone can help me?

There's plenty of free options here that you can try: http://alternativeto.net/software/adobe-flash/

the computer is new but the software are old =(
I saw that site
Synfig is crash with no reason in window 7

Synfig does have its issues but you can do puppet type animation.
Even in my tutorials I swear at synfig.
But I have learned that if you keep each animation short you can be somewhat sucessful.
See my signature for my tutorials.
You may be able to do frame by frame in synfig by manually editing .lst files the same way I use .lst files for lip sync.
Pencil 2d may be good too but I cant figure out how to color the lines.
Good luck

I quite surprise that Synfig cant move the import image directly
I spend an hour to fine a way to move my imported png
the imported image stored in a stupid spike format
I can only change the left top point and right bot point of spike
That sucks and easily destroy the scale of the image

on the other hand, i had to find the way to rotate my imported PNG
That stupid but I had to Duel with it =(

If i have flash or After Effect, I can did it in 5 second

then that mean that you will have to use Synfig until you can acually afford one i guess!
if you want another altertive there is pencil2D if you want to try a new animation tool.
