seriously though, a couple years back rig only had time to do a 30 second clip for one of the NGADM rounds. and yeah, he lost, but at least he went out with some dignity.

Normally I'd be thrilled that I wouldn't have to worry, but to have the opportunity to go up against last years winner and one of the best classical composers on the site, I went full out with my work. I'm honestly quite disappointed that the match up won't go ahead :( I genuinely hope @bosa re-uploads his track and @step will give him the opportunity to still push through without a forfeit!

Yeah, you're right. It's just frustrating that I was unable to foresee how busy I would be. On the bright side though, you get the honor of hearing the early stages of my piece. You should feel like a millionaire right now.

@Bosa : We all have just a little time or problems. I wanted to start my track 1 week ago, worked a few hours on conceptual stuff and then something really stupid happened in my family ... and i was of until 2 days ago since i had to care for my parents ... which means: 2 days to compose and in the end logic made problems and crashed all the time - i almost could not use the playback ... worst working situation ever, I could not bounce my stringsaccompaniment in the end for 4-6 bars of the ending sequence or i would have excessed the deadline. It was finished 4 minutes before the deadline - upload takes 9. Cool! I come from germany. Here it means: 12.00 = 12.00000000000. Not one millisecond later so i had to decide ... :D

You see - we all have similar problems and especially time problems since we all have a life to live somehow and to struggle with various problems. I have lots of job interviews and flat searching and have to drive hundreds of kilometers several times a week, starting my second audio studies, organizing my new life there and stuff. I am sure most folks here are in a similar situation concerning stress. But what this just shows is: Thats life. That happens to all of us. So pull your self together and relax :D
