The project is NOT dead and is simply experiencing a change a leadership because the original coordinator decided to ditch the project because things were going poorly for him.
If you haven't already realized there are still supporters who are willing to carry out the project even if it means fewer people participating.

First of all, I did not "ditch" it because things were going poorly. I closed the project because we had too many members, not enough people replying back, dropouts in every message I did send, and the entries took about 2 months each.

I know it's really hard to organize and lead group projects. I've tried some myself without success. Often, things just don't go your way. I feel for you. But at the same time, I really like your idea and want to see it grow and mature.
