I'm the happiest with how this one turned out.

Can mods delete posts? This is the second time someone's posted their own art in my sketchbook thread. I know that sounds a bit childish but it's kind of frustrating

More figure studies. Playing around with linework, not really sure how I feel about it. I'd like to move into a more illustrative style, and I guess that's what I'm attempting ahah
Some fun quick stuff for some of the draw threads on /v/

aaand kirby in rubick's outfit
I like to do these doodles when I get tired of studies and other boring stuff.
Little drawing of me.
have some more stuff to show! I really like practicing these pure contour drawings, where you don't look at your paper and just try to get a feel for really looking at what you're drawing. It helps me pay attention to what things actually look like rather than what they should look like.
I was actually really happy with how this drawing turned out. I wanted to do a sort of pattern thing, and I think I've always really liked the way blues and yellows contrast of eachother.
Hi guys! I feel like I only ever post here when I'm on some sort of break. Anyway, I'm gonna post some of my sketchbook I've been toying with. A lot of my finished pieces are still up at the school (graduation is tomorrow, and that's when I'll take them home), so it will be a bit until I can upload pics of them.
Recently I've had a lot of fun drawing really organic looking things.

More imaginary organs and some contour drawings of a nun.

I really like a lot of the design choices in dota 2. One of the more interesting ones to me is Bane's design. I really like drawing him, all his lines and gradients are a lot of fun.

More organs and junk. Liked the idea of infections and such. A bit inspired by the flood and I think I got the halo from eva. This was a sketch for the full piece I have in my gallery.

last of the drawthread, for now. I really enjoy drawing skullgirls for some reason
I drew kirby and bandana-dee (bandanadee?) as if they were the protags in an 80s brocop action movie
art school has kept me pretty busy, but I've finally got a bit of a break.
Here's some of the stuff I've been up to, mostly observational studies
More studies. Assignment was to create depth through use of warm and cool colors.
Never really used oil paints before, I'm not a huge fan of how long they take to dry, but it is nice to be able to completely redo a part of the painting just by wiping it off.
More observational studies, working with warm and cool values once more.
last one of the paintings, painted from a model in this one, which was a lot of fun.
