Today, I decided to buy my Christmas booze. Every year I treat myself to a bottle of something nice to consume on the day, in order for me to get that special, festive kind of drunk where you're comfortable letting your family know just what you think of them and where they can shove their £5 gift voucher. Followed by twelve months of apologising.
This year I invested in a bottle of Bulleit Bourbon. Something I've had before and I can tell you it's a hell of a tipple. Here's some figures:
70cl
45%alc/vol
Was £35 ($43) but got it on sale for £20 ($25). Woop, woop.
This bottle is a special edition that comes with a "lewis bag". This means nothing to me but, according to the label, it can be used to crush ice by filling the bag with ice, sealing it and then lightly hitting it with a hammer. Not sure It'd encourage using a hammer after a few of these but why not. The bag is kinda cool, it's got magnets sown into the top to close it.
Now all I have to do is wait.
