and everyone seemed ok with it.... i even heard from some of my friends that they thought it was funny.

but then i went further and drew this

and it all went downhill from there.

i know that it is not the bright fluffy humor that everyone is used to in MLP, but it was jsut a crazy idea, and if you look in my gallery i dont do this often. Im an adult so im going to think sexually from time to time and express it.

but now it seems that i lost two people that i respect over this with out them telling me a word of why.

i thought that they were my friends, but if they cannot accept my varying personality i suppose that they were not my friends in the first place.

Im not only valued their artwork and their humor and personalities, but i also really wanted just to e their friend and connect with them on a human level with emotion and trust and basic friendship.

so my heart is broken, but what an i do... it is just a lost opportunity on their part on losing a faithful friendly person that is not afraid of her sexuality.

For future reference, keep all your art in one thread.

I'll never understand why some fans of anything get so bent out of shape over a parody or any type of criticism. Shit's not even real but hey, it's the internet. Just keep it moving, quitting wont change anything.

If you have a dark side, sometimes it's just better to keep it to yourself. If people think they know you then you come out with something totally unexpected, it has shock value and might scare them away. It affects them too ya'know, not ONLY you.

I dont think the picture was going too far in the slightest, i just think its drawn poorly and it its about an annoying subject matter. I think its sad though that something so simple can cause drama for you and your friends.

I mean for fucks sake this is Newgrounds, for years we had a whole section that was dedicated to tasteless crass "bastard" flash movies. One of our most cherished artists got popular making dead baby flash movies. We applaud the talents and humor of people like Stamper and Jeremy Lokken and Marc M. Our forums and portals are generously peppered with threads, movies, and art pieces that crack jokes at horrible tragedies and we vigorously defend them if people start crying "too soon".

For fucks sake people, grow a pair. This picture is practically G rated compared to 30% of the daily content submitted to this site.

The art, honestly, is shit. It's a five minute sketch with no sense of lighting, horrible color choices, and no depth.
Anything worth doing is worth doing well, or at least well enough that someone looking at it will understand what's going on.

That's what I was saying. Double standards here (or DA) of all places? I mean of course rape and any other violence is bad in real life (at least to most people) but that's not the context in question. It's a parody.

The bulk of us have/had deviantart accounts, and have forsaken the place for a variety of reasons, one of them being the copious amounts of artwork similar to the stuff in this thread.
