I really do enjoy the atmosphere of the song. This would probably give you weird-ass dreams if you fell asleep listening to it. The melody laid down by that squeaky kazoo thing was pretty chill, but it's a tad grading for my tastes. When the guitar came in with that super spacey part around 6:45 or so, the song really won me over. Overall, a quite nice track.

Kylesa - Unspoken
8/10 never heard that album, but I love Static Tensions. Before I clicked, I had the title confused with Unknown Awareness, which I play a lot.

Meh, 6/10. Doom metal bores me unless it's something that really stands out. Heard too much Eyehategod and Sabbath to really care anymore.

Oh, shit. Didn't see his post because it was overshadowed by the guy who posted just to be a pain in the ass. My bad.

"another generic rap song huh"
not for me, not necessarily terrible either. 5/10.

Chuck Berry - Run Rudolph Run
9/10.
I really love this song. I first heard it in Home Alone and it's very catchy. The scene in Home Alone where the family is running through the airport makes this song even more memorable. Kelly Clarkson did a cover of it a couple years ago which is just as good.
The 12 Days of Christmas - Bing Crosby and the Andrews Sisters (my personal favourite rendition of this song):

This shit's weird-- a post hardcore band with competent musicians?! Think Mars Volta, but with a little more Sparta (and yet not quite At the Drive-In)
YOOO HAIL THE SUN. I actually know them. The record label they're under is owned by a sick af guitarist named Will Swan who plays for this band.

As of right now, 3/5. May need listen again, but it doesn't stick with me so despite the nice build up and the emotional vocals, can't give it much higher. Sorry.
I'd apologize more, but I think I'll let this do the talking.

2/5 not my cup of tea. Something about the voice and the production -- I mean, not everyone can have clean production and you don't need a "good" voice to make songs work, but idk. The repitition was catchy, it's in my head, as is the riff. The short length was.... fuck it. Boosting it up to a 3/5. I'mma get this song now.
Be satisfied with the knowledge that though I'm in California, things can't get much... cooler.

Sounds kinda generic, like something from that grunge influenced 90s wave of metal. Not my cup of tea but not the worst I've heard, either. You'd probably like the John Bush era of Anthrax if you're not familiar with it already.

Same band, but, this singer (Joey Belladonna) and John Bush are nothing alike. Personally I can't stand Bush's era save for a few songs but many would disagree with me. Look up "Only" for the best example of his era.

Not a bad instrumental. Reminds me of... well, the comparisons I'd make might not seem positive (nu-metal bands come to mind) but I mean them in a positive light. Mostly bc there were like... no vocals? Heh. Not something I'll go to check out, but I wouldn't mind seeing a few more songs here. 3/5
I have no excuse, I just had this song stuck in my head while shopping and I need to share it.
