I bought a book and did one of the tutorials. It was real fun, but kind of got tired at the end.

I want to do more to get a better feel for it, and start my own once I get the hang of it. My biggest issue is I never consider accessories or clothing when drawing these types of figures, so they end up just being studies of the body.

No need to mention the hands...I know they look terrible

I'd like to see what others have. Share your Warriors and Heroes, if you want.

I like the details, don't think I would have the patience to draw all those dots.

I started on my own warrior today, so I'll be posting the progression

Personal preference here, but I find you're putting the belts rather low, for male warriors at least. Perhaps it's just me but I think it would look better if it were just a little lower than the belly button.

Agreed

I think you have a great start so far, and I'm digging the background, but I do have some critiques.
First, the way he's standing is uncomfortably off balance. Generally, when someone steps out like that, their leg will hit a 90 degree angle. It looks like you're catching him mid-step and that's sort of an odd moment to capture. Also, there's something about the way his neck and body line up that doesn't sit well with me. I'm not 100% sure how to describe it, but I think turning in his chest and left arm would probably fix it. And looking at it more, his chest looks like it might be a little high up.

I doodled over your drawing to try and explain it better, so hopefully that helps. : )
