Damnit man, I always wanted to work with you too. You were one of the few artists that made me genuinely laugh. I always loved seeing you films on the front page and I absolutely loved your sense of humor. I don't think it could have happened to anyone nicer.

It's a shame, I loved his stuff and it was quite obvious he still had a lot of creativity left in him...
It's always sad to see someone die this young, but it's always worse when that person has such potential...

With Luis mentioning it on Facebook, that confirms it for me. I too have met him at a few meets and it really sucks to see him go like this.
When I first came to this website, Eddsworld really inspired me to begin animating. They were so simple, yet brilliantly created. May Eddsworld forever spin.

I was just checking Twitter and I was strangely surprised to see RIP Edd Gould on the trending topics; my first thought was "is the Edd Gould from Eddsworld?" then I saw the video and a lot of Newgrounders tweeting it and I had to came here to confirm the sad news.
The guy was so young and talented. Good bye bro, forever miss you.

i feel bad for all the kid eddsworld fans dude. their audience was largely 12 year olds and shit who aren't used to handling this kind of stuff. if my favorite animator died when i was 11 i would be fucking devastated.
Oh my god, this is really getting to me. I've been a huge fan of Eddsworld for years, there was a period where I was almost obsessed with Edd's work and checked the site every day for months. I actually started drawing, one of the biggest features of my personality, by learning Edd's style in 5th or 6th grade and spending the next few years developing as an artist and making my own style.
R.I.P Edd. You inspired me so much, gave me so much entertainment, and helped to make me who I am today.
