Would my perspective change about my kid yeah just a little bit but I would love my kid the same. No. Although, you can't exactly tell until they reach "that age." Though there would be signs.

I would try to see if it is just a phase, and if counseling would help. However, if they were indeed gay, I'd be cool with it.

I personally don't think it is normal/natural, but it's not like you can prevent someone from being gay, so why should I disown them?

Then again, I'm not even sure whether or not I'd even have a child. I'm not even sure what the right age for me to even commit to something like that would be. I'd have to be wealthy/well off before I even consider fathering a child. It's such an enormous financial burden.

But having a gay son to decorate my house, and cut my hair would be cool, lol.

And just to clarify: the few gay people I've met are just as manly as the next dude. In fact, none of them wore flamboyant clothing, had a lisp, or a high-pitched tone. Some of them were even perverted, and crude.(which got weird at times, I'm not going to lie) but despite my previous comment joking about it, the majority of gay men are not frilly, into high fashion, or home decorating, and some of them have worse fashion sense then me.(and I'm straight)

It just so happens that a lot of fashion industry people, tv execs, home decorators, and wedding coordinators are gay men.

No one here is mentioning lesbians, though. I'd be cool as hell if I had a daughter who was gay, because she might be able to help me find an attractive mate, and I could talk to her about how hot another woman is.(something I already enjoy about hanging out with lesbian and bi-sexual chicks)

We would probably even have more in common in that regard then I would if I had a gay son. I could never talk about sex with my gay son. I would boast about my encounters, and I'd shut him up every time he brought up his. It would be an awkward relationship in that regard.

Still wouldn't disown, though.
