Justin bieber has got to be the worst musician I know of. His talents are so blown out of proportion that people just accept the fact that he's awesome without making an actual judgement of his skill.

It seems a hell of a lot easier to create that type of music over anything else-- I'd say about 90 percent of the "bands" that came out of my high school were this genre, and their sound wasn't too far off from well known artists. I don't consider screaming too great of a talent, and the parts where real singing is included is usually heavily auto tuned. The lyrics that you can understand are mostly very shallow and often filled with terrible metaphors that only grab the attention of hormone gushing 15 year olds. I'd say a good chunk of the drumming and the decent guitar solo every now and then deserve most of the credit, but the talent could be used so much better elsewhere. I won't lie, I went through a (short lived) phase a few years ago, but it didn't take long for me and my peers to grow out of it (except for those weird straight edge people).
I might have taken it too far to say EVERY scremo band-- I'm sure there might be some exceptions that I've never come across.

I sincerely hope that you are referring to the genre screamo, and aren't one of those people that just refers to any music with harsh vocals as screamo.
Wow, I love how 90% of the people hate Justin Beiber - though I do hate him too, but it's not worse than BVB. Black Veil Brides sucks! Their just 12 year old chick magnets and have the same dumb ass guitar solos in all their songs and don't understand the meaning of LYRICS! Sorry, but I'm a rock fan and think BVB really knows how to get someone that likes Guns N' Roses, ACDC, Metalica, Slayer, Black Sabbath, etc pissed. Not just BVB is the worst, the modern bands these days are horrible. Maybe, JUST MAYBE, My Chemical Romance deserves to be called "Good."

I'm pretty familiar with most of the 'cores'. I'm not too big of a fan of most of those genres either, but I do think more talent is seen in them than screamo.
