Original Anime: "Hymn of Unity" 2012-01-14 13:54:43

We are currently looking for more voice-actors, co-writers, editors, animators, and composers.

"Hymn of Unity" is an anime that has been in the works for around 4-5 years. All characters created with many strange traits including being a "neo-nazi" of some sort or homicidal crackhead. The setting takes place in a rundown "ghetto" community, culture mixed in with both Western and Eastern. The genre of this anime is comedy/drama/action. Please enjoy the following summary..

Naoko Ono, a once successful man who decided to drop his college classes in the middle of his third year as he felt that his life would be going nowhere afterwards. He ends up working in a local convenience store with enough salary to make ends meet and live in a cheap apartment. Soon after his few years working, he stumbles upon a pair of broken headphones that exposed many strange and alien parts. These pair of headphones entrigued him further to the point where he took them home to fix them.

Upon fixing the headphones, the wire for the jack came to life and impaled itself straight into Naoko's spinal cord, on the back of his neck. Suddenly, his whole visage changed before his very life as he squirmed in pain. His youth, face, personality, hair, everything changed to a different look. He now wakes up from his post-op slumber and attempts to work around his life, having heighthened abilities in nearly everything now. Confused about his identity, he gradually has flashbacks of his past due to his resilient soul trying to fight away the power of the headphones.

A few days of recouping gets Naoko "in shape", the various voicemails on the answering machine has him curious as the messages are from his boss telling him, "GODDAMN IT, NAOKO! YOU'RE FIRED.". It's one thing after another when he realises that someone buys the apartment room from him, the buyer: A German neo-nazi, Roland Baumgaertner. This causes Naoko to become enraged and begins to confront the situation with questions. Roland informs Naoko that the landlord placed the room under "unoccupied" since Naoko's whole identity was wiped clean from the face of the world. Roland and Naoko both physically and verbally altercate until they both came to a conclusion. They are both to live in the apartment together. Later, they both become close friends.

A while after that, Naoko notices that someone is going through his apartment complex's dumpster, leaving trash all about and half-eaten banana peels at the front door. The anxiety in Naoko grew, because something in his head (possibly his original conscience) is telling him to protect a bag that he has hidden before transforming and is always reluctant to open when in hand. Soon, he finds out that the culprit is actually some sort of homeless high-school girl (Minori Sakurai), and wants to confront and consult her for her problems. Only to be thwarted by the neighborhood's most feared murderer/crackfiend "The Coke-Killer", who seems to pop in at the worst times in attempt to kill Naoko. The reason behind his motives are unknown.

The story unfolds further then on...
