Cutting legs. They're made of three layers of plywood glued and stapled together.
And here's the desk with all the legs and wings attached! I got myself a keyboard tray too.

We don't need no trusses, but we may be putting some cross braces on the back legs.
Damn it's really nice that your dad is helping you out with this project. I wish i could do something like that with mine :(

Well, here's hoping. I bought him food along with all the materials and drew up the plans, and he did the cuts. It helps that he's a carpenter and has a full shop, lol
I'm just scared when you go to move it into your room a leg will get smacked.
This might be your project but I fantasize that its mine.
Do those legs screw off? That looks like a monster size desk to get into an office building
Oh also you could probably use some scrap wood and felt to raise that sub an inch or two off the ground. Just like 4 little 1x1x1 blocks of wood wrapped in felt should do the trick.
If you so desire. You probably already thought of that but I figured I'd say it anyways

Tell him that we also think he's awesome.

What I read.

Yes, I designed it to be taken apart easily. It'll fit in the back of a van or U-HAUL vehicle.

Will do!
I'm spray painting the legs gloss black. It'll look even sexier :D

Those are some fine-looking legs.

Wait you mean your TABLE legs right? Cause are we gonna see Rig with Rig-legs now? :P
I love that "floating" keyboard tray.
I brought over my computer from home. I'll use it here until I get a new one :D
Protip: if you're getting a lot of comb filtering from your desk, move your speakers up and back. Works for me.
wow this is coming together now, what type of monitor is that you have there on the left, i feel like i might need one of those. Perfect for the reason racks!

Same as the one on the right, but with the stand removed and turned sideways. It's called portrait mode, and any monitor can do it.
