if i've uploaded an image to either my journal or art portal, usually if i try to upload any image anywhere else on NG it gets stuck on an infinite loading loop. if it wont let you upload in 24 hours though it might be something else. i think its picky about extensions if you dont have .jpg at the end etc either.
man even if tom extends the deadline i've got a dental appointment tomorrow and supply-stocking for a flight

Last year I submitted this to the calendar contest. It was a day late since I had a lot of grad school related stuff at the time and I asked for a deadline extension. I was told there would be no extension or exception for anyone and that "at least I'd have a whole year to make the submission better". It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.
Well.... compared to some, my piece does look kinda crap.. but compared to others its BADASS.. so ye... wats everyone think?

After the deadline, and not the right size. If the deadline does get extended you're gonna have to fix the size.

1. ye i have to admit i did copy a few of the characters of google images.. just cause i dont have a style of my own personally... plus i didnt trace them... i just drew them pixel to pixel from my shitty computer screen

I did try and upload it on the deadline, but it wouldnt accept it in the required format, so i had to deal with being smaller, only to find out later that it wasnt posted to the portal because im not scouted... cause im a massive NG NOOB.. so ye... maybe i didnt deserve to win a place lol... still.. im gunna buy the next calender

To be fair, no. The text feels cheating. You could've simply solved it by putting a hand between the goat and bitey-baby. It's a quick fix and not only wouldn't Tom even need to look at them, it also gets rid of the sentence that is forcing a joke on people, instead of letting them draw conclusions themselves.

I saw a mod changed the tag of my submission from last year so that it is submitted for this years calendar. Thanks to whoever went through the trouble of doing that, but I wasn't trying to ask for it to be added. I was just trying to say that it'll be interesting to see if the deadline is pushed this year, when last year I had asked for one and was shut down.
I removed the 2011 submission from the art portal as I spent a great deal of time on the one for this year so it's the only one I want considered for this years competition. Sorry for any confusion.

Next year (or if the deadline is extended), make sure you make your submission in landscape rather than portrait! The calendar opens to show two landscape pages each month.. the top page contains the artwork, the bottom being the calendar (as with most calendars). If a submission is portrait, it would be sideways when it is hanging on the wall.
