Mount and Blade: Warband

[Gimmick]

I know that it's an old game (2010), but it's a really nice game.
Expanding on the old mount and blade, this one has better graphics, needless to say, but the good thing is that it still runs on my computer, albeit with low settings.

So, so far in the game I've been taken as prisoner by bandits and played tournaments, to which I lost in the semi finals, and ever since the bandits caught me and defeated me, I've been a lone survivor, with my troops deserting me.
If you have this game, what's your story?

I love MB Warband, a little disappointed they made Fire and sword instead of focusing on the actual game itself though. More features and polishing and refinement would be neat.

Its very barely a year old. A relatively old game in my books would be an early PS2 game maybe. Also, I love it!

Oh come on that was last year, no way it's 'old'. But back on topic, it's a great game, I played countless hours on it, made my kingdom, toppled others and such, but managing a kingdom is a pretty heavy task, so I preffer to just follow orders and be a 2nd in command at most.

I played the newer one, with fire and sword I think. It's pretty good, but I still enjoyed Warband more.

The thing about Mount&Blade is you can play it for along time or just get a different mod for it and still play it for monthes. I made a new guy on warband got in a fight with bandits got captured broke loose and got captured again.

Took a while before I stopped getting captured by bandits every five minutes and actually made some solid progress, and you know what... It's freaking awesome!

So know I am a vassal for the Kingdom of Vaegirs, I have my own castle and village, and seem to have a good chance at getting hitched with a lovely lady of the realm. And I get to cut down bandits from horseback while laughing sadistically! It is good to be a lord!

Screw becoming king, though, seems like way too much work.

Just some time ago, I went to the arena and threw my weapon, and fought and defended with nothing but my fists. Hardcore.

I really loved Warband, it's just such a shame the sequel was a let down.

You're calling a game from 2010 old? I'm currently playing through Half-Life, which is from '98.
This game seems pretty awesome, though. I've heard of it before.

Okay, sheesh, relatively old in my books is a game compared to games made this year.
Relatively old = 1 year old or something.
