Progress on the digital painting pic has been slow, but steady. I had to remake her legs as the angle was awkward.
On an unrelated note, I've been playing a lot of KH: Birth By Sleep lately and, well...
Should I keep entertaining this idea?
I almost feel like making it a full-blown piece :D
I'd have to add a LOT more side characters though, I only scribbled a few off the top of my head.
Any suggestions for who I should put up there would be awesome.

A bowl of fruit is probably more solid practice and less likely to make me cry like a little girl :D
I've got about 8 hours invested in this so far. About half of it is spent staring at the screen, rubbing my chin, wincing while trying to figure out how the hell I'm going to make the light and shadows on the hair to give it volume. Then erasing it. Then trying. Then erasing it again. Then trying again.
I wish I could have kept working on it, this is stupidly addicting but I have work in an hour so I need to get ready D:
Lemme know what you think!
I have no idea why I made her a blonde, it seemed to suit her better than blue hair.
I have no idea why I initially gave her blue hair either.
Probably because it's one of only two colored pencils I carry with me, the other one being red.
...Actually, that would explain Deyr's hair color as well.
your getting there!
but i feel she needs harder shades, and more color in her skin, try adding a tiny amount of blue and red, or even green. red for the fleshy things like her nose eyes ears. blue for the shadows aswell as green, but this depends on how the light is.
keep pushing it, your doing great!

I'll try and sketch a girl a day, I could use the anatomy practice o.o
Referenced the pose from this chick.
I'll just leave this here...
Nice! Her arms just look too thin.

I see what you did there.
Might be you, further down the road. Who knows :O

Haha yeah, I think her right arm isn't too bad, but I agree that the left one is definitely too thin.
I messed up her left leg too, and her shoes really irk me for some reason.
But yeah, definitely a lot of practice required, thanks for the feedback :D
Thread could use a refresh!
Recent hype (or maybe it's old hype and I've only just noticed it) has given me the urge to draw some pokes.
I tried to remember my old team but failed miserably and settle for whatever came to mind.
God, I haven't drawn pokemon in, like... 12 years.
Good times :D

I keep thinking you're a guy, for some reason ._.
Knowing you aren't, makes your obsession with calves less disturbing... somewhat :D
I'll take that as a compliment though, so thank you.
Her left foot looks "way huger" than her other foot, I really should have no say because I suck at feet, but your art keeps me inspired to draw more and get better, I like your style.. Oh and I know that her foot might look slightly bigger because perspective her right foot is slightly further away from the "camera".
Kuma, I'm so jelly :c
And if you're going to work on that Pokemon piece, you might as well work on the KH one too ;)
Monstarssssss. Great team, btw. All badasssss. 'Cept for Machamp. Never liked him :3
Scyther!!!!! <3 :D :D :D

What're you talking about, Machamp is fabulous.
And thanks :D

No, you're right about the foot. I tried drawing it at an angle at first, so you could see the sole of the shoe, but I could never get the details right so I scrapped it and ended up doing a side view, but the proportions are off.
Glad to know I'm a source of inspiration :D
Motivation boost get.

Haven't read one piece in a while. I guess you mean the outfit design...? Either way, thanks :D
Unrelated to the pokes, but here's fanart I made for Knocturne's latest art post that also served as anatomy practice :O
I kind of wish I'd put it here rather than in his own thread, it struck me as being kind of rude only after I'd posted it.
Pose is referenced from this guy.
I slowly slumped back into a start-shit-that-I-never-finish state.
Trying to get out of it.
Come to think of it... most of what I've posted in this thread is WIP.
Gonna have to fix that...
Work in Progress :D
Mostly a color and placement test.
There are a lot of things I'll need to tweak and a few discrepancies I'll need to adjust, like forgetting to make Machamp's belt :c

I honestly worked more on Manchamp than the others.
Full WIP here.
............ IM NOT WORTHY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice drawing as always.. *sigh*
the lord of our savior. el christio
Still alive! Still alive...
haha I've been working on the story more than the drawings lately.
Male protagonist, Deyr.
Last time I make a concept of him. Opted for really short hair :D
Gonna clean it tomorrow. Or later.
your character designs really pop! :D you should start doing some full pieces with backgrounds and stuff :)

This is mostly concept art though so I focus on the subject and omit surroundings. I admit though that backgrounds are def my weak point.
Speaking of which, here's a really rough sketch of Melianar, a small farming village in the game. I need sooooooo much practice drawing locales, it's almost stupid....
Quite decent actually Kuma, I think it looks like the hill bends and it's "Face" is pointing towards us, seems a bit odd, but I don't think it's wrong.
Who is the hunter?
