This thread's a bit late, since I've been a bit preoccupied and stuff.
Anyway, Flood The Portal Fridays! woooooo

What's Flood the Portal Friday, you ask?
The idea is to swamp the art portal with the same thumbnail, with pics based on the same theme, right at the same time. This ain't a competition, it's a bit of dumb fun. You can post WIPs and banter and shit here, as well as some links to your art portal entries.

The Rules?
- Make sure the thumbnail of your pic is EXACTLY the one shown below. Don't make it green, don't flip it, don't change the text, don't do anything! That's meant to be the icon that's Flood the Portal! You can change it later on or remove it, after 24 hours have gone.
- You can either work the thumbnail into the pic, or just dump the thumbnail in the corner, whatever you want.
- Feel free to make as many pictures as you wish, so long as they're not shite.
- Don't upload it early, it's gotta be a FLOOD of pics on the FRIDAY! If you can't do the submission time, then you shouldn't really join. Unless you fancy drawing something, of course.
- If it's early, an art mod will delete it. muahaha.

This'll be better if we can get as many people as possible to join. Hopefully you guys can vote and review as many of the pieces as you can, as well as provide some reasonably constructive feedback.

The theme for the fourth flood is SNOW*. The theme can be as literal or loosely interpreted as you want, so long as you include the thumbnail.

You may also want to tag your pic with "ftpf04", so we can look back at the pics in the future.

The fourth flood will begin on the 7TH OF JANUARY AT 6PM NEWGROUNDS TIME, and the thumbail can be downloaded here.

* this is different to the theme Nae wanted. I'm going for snow since it's a seasonal theme, plus her idea might be more appropriate for July ...

I think I'm gonna sit this one out. I'm in camp for five days an I doubt I can submit anything because I'm preoccupied the whole five days.

There's gotta be some sort of rule against this...

It's not the forum that's going to be flooded, it's the art portal. It's a good thing.

People just assume when they see "flood" and "spam" that it's gonna be shit

I've only managed to review one from the last flood. But I'm back to work this week and it doesn't look like there's a whole lot to do (yet), so if it stays quiet, maybe I can get few more done :)

I hope I will be able to join but I doubt it. Exams are evil.

Pssst, I think someone should draw me trapped by that massive snow storm I got hit with a few weeks back.

Sweet! I already sketched out a nice snow landscape last night before I knew about this. Looks like I am going to be in Painyer for the next 5 hours. If it sucks. I have a backup drawing that I did last week.

Allright, I found a spot between learning sessions and I made something quick but semi-decent. Perps.

My damn Laptop is still broken. This theme is great. I hope I can manage to submit to the flood somehow. :'(
