So I had a thread before, but it was bad, so I'm going to try again.
My DeveantArt(if your interested).
I'd love for some constructive criticism. Thanks.
This will be my first posted pic I guess:

Thought I'd mention that I am not going to post any art up that is currently on my DA account.
why can's you post more than one image at a time.
This is from my sketchbook, I'll probs have more hand drawn stuff than stuff off the computer

The whole purpose of an art thread is to show your progression, even if that means your art was real shit at the beginning.
You don't just get a second thread because you don't like your old art.
If you wanted to restart your art thread, you need to contact a mod first.

Here goes, I'm going to post a good few stuff up.
Portrait of my sister, the jaw line is too low and makes her look way fatter than she is, but the rest kind of looks like her(kind of):
Hopefully some people will comment.

But what about those random darker green lines on the hair? Is this the shading on the hair? No offense, but they look out of place.

yeah I know, they were just there for the shade colour not where the shading would actually go, I didn't fix it because, well maybe I'll fix it up a little more.
Going to hand out my usual advice - and it always holds true sooner or later. Go do some life sketches - that is, stop drawing from imagination from imagination for a bit and start observation. See that handy hand of yours? Draw it. You now know how to draw a hand.
You've got to know the rules before you can bend them. Your lighting isn't too bad, but for a style that incorporates a load of "realistic-ness" into itself, certainly lacking the basics of a real style.
Not too bad for a start though, man.

Just read this, I have done some portraits and such and doing some drawings from an anatomy book but your right I should do way more, and not just faces - hands as you pointed out and other limbs. Thanks for the advice
I guess you'll be seeing more life-drawing.
My first digital lanscape from imagination (not very creative)

I probably should have had his head hanging down, due to gravity.
Finally got me some art classes, they start this Saturday. I can't wait, so hopefully you'll see some more mediums being used and an improvement.
I need a good portfolio to get into art college, so that's why I'm going to take a 2 hour class every week
