Yes. Pretty simple to use really.

Not too easy and not too hard. It has a good balance.

Definitely for a little while. May need new surprises to keep the player interested though.

I just want to say, I really like this testing environment you've set up here, Afro-Ninja. It provides a very active exchange between the developer and testers, allows for a wide variety of people with different interests and abilities to test, and gives the testers the good feeling of having contributed to a great project.

Now, why can't more game developers do thing like this?

finally got past the 3rd level in the 1st planet, so heres my view so far. The boss at the end of the 1st planet is great! I loved how when you finally shoot its guns off and it sends off those swirls of bullets to dodge, it was kinda trippy and fun. I was also glad to see that you do get more items when you get to the next planet. The leves in the 2nd planet are fine, its challenging but possible to get through. The only thing is the boss in the 2nd planet i have a problem with. At first its fine, and then when its just a caged red ball thats fine too, but its only when at its 3rd form is a way too hard to dodge.

I tried different ways to see if i can get it but theres no other way. The bullets are literally everywhere and seems almost random, I would suggest easing it up a bit. Like i said thats only when its at its 3rd form, i don't know if it has anything else after that.

no bugs were found and you still got a fun game here.

Is it to late to be accepted in the Beta? If not i want in ;)

I was doing some Beta testerizing last night, and I wanted to see what would happen if you completed a boss stage (The ones with the little bonus area to collect the gems afterward) with homing missiles following you...
After hours of trying on level 2-4 to not accidentally blow up the missiles, not getting killed while dodging the missile, etc.
I finally got into the groove of being able to do it every time...

You can die from the missiles during the money collection part after the boss, and you must restart (even if you die like .5 seconds before you are supposed to fly off of the screen)

...But the second that auto-pilot kicks in and you begin to fly off screen, the missiles are now your homies. They will follow you and wont detonate on you.
Pretty cool.

Not really a big bug or anything.... and I honestly think you should make it an achievement, since it requires super leet dodging skills to beat a boss, and dodge a homing missile the entire time.

You should make it an achievement.
"It Followed me home - 25points"
Complete a Boss Stage with a homing missile following you.

if you don't, you probably don't need to remove it from the game... (the friendly missiles) since it did require a lot of practice.... but it may be possible in other levels (I only tried it in the last area of planet 2)

ONLY THE FIRST TWO PLANETS WORK, ANYTHING AFTER WILL JUST REPEAT THE SAME LEVEL.
I'll probably add in small groups, depending on interest level. Testers will have their ng usernames added to the credits when the game is complete

ABOUT THE GAME:
this is a shmup with rpg elements. instead of collecting powerups in the level you collect money to spend at the parts shop- as you progress you'll unlock expansion slots where you can mix and match weapons and ship mods for a custom attack setup (you can individually rotate the weapons as well)

as you play you'll also gain xp and level up your ship with small stat upgrades
