i like it when you get hit once then go flying into 3 backflips landing on your back like in the first contra game. or when you just stop and your character makes a surprised face at you then hops off the screen.
I was rubbing my hands together whilst thinking up something, but I actually found it fucking hilarious to see your controlled character in Tekken 6 get propelled back.

If we are talking retro arcade games or pre-N64 or under era then I'd say I'd go out like Pacman.

Any fatality in Mortal Kombat. Among my favorites are Kung Lao's hat slice and Reptile's acid spit. Also the blood going down the screen in Goldeneye followed by multiple camera angles of you dying is entertaining also.

Yeah the Goldeneye one was awesome, because I still remember it after about seven years. It used to show you like four times dying from different angles.
