Hi, I am a programmer, and I have finished scripting the game. The game is not a mouse avoider maze game (Scary Maze game) but a 2D top down maze game. The player has to move the character to a point to proceed to another level. All I need now is adding levels to the game, so I can submit it to the portal.

I am not the type who likes to think and design levels. So I am looking for a designer / artist to collaborate / work with.

I will need 15 different mazes for 15 levels, and I am hoping to find a person who will design all the 15 mazes. If there is no one who is able / willing to design all the mazes, then I might consider to have multiple collaborators.

Requirements:
The maze has to be 550 x 400.
The wall of the maze has to be black. It should be thicker than just a line, probably some pixels thick, it's up to you.
The background has to be transparent.

The maze should have multiple routes, dead ends, but only an exit. I do not want it to be to fancy, so something simple will do. Example:

If you have any questions, please ask.

If you are interested, please post an example so I know what your mazes will be like.

Thank you in advance.

- Rickey.

Sorry for double post, but the forum does not allow the tag. Please visit here for the example.

a few questions
do you want a specific style of art (like maybe sketchy with outlined walls or block with filled walls)
and could it have curved edges instead of just straight lines .
do you want colour/ black and white
does the exit have to have a marker ( like the arrow in your example (if yes would it have to match every level))
let me know i'd love to have a go at this for you

one last thing
do you want them to get progressively harder to complete?

The style of art does not really matter, so it is completely up to you. However, if it is an outlined wall, the middle part needs to be transparent.

It could have curved edges. I prefer them smooth.

The wall needs to be black, and the ground needs to be transparent.

The exit does not need to have a marker. It would be better if they match, though.

It is up to you if you want them to get harder.

Thank you.

- Rickey.

Have you started it yet?

I am sorry, but I am thinking of putting this project on hold, as I just realized that I have lost the engine. D:

If you where able to get the engine back, would you be needing any music for the game?

Yes, off course. Would you be able to provide some music for the game? :D

Please ignore my previous post about putting this project on hold. I forgot that I have saved a copy of it in my another drive. :D

I could i guess =3 Would you want an original specifically for this game, or just one of my posted songs? That and is there as specific kind of song you'd need?

I will prefer an original specifically for this game, but I will give your posted songs a listen first. I prefer horror-themed music (such as the music used in the games I listed below) for this game. Please suggest your horror-themed music to me, so I do not have to go through and listen all 43 of them.

The closest things to "Horror" that i've already made are:

And maybe

But i will probably make some originals for this, i could make a bunch of shorter loops, like if you wanted a different song per level, or two or three different. You pick =3

An original will be nice, but I prefer to have a longer song for the whole game. :x

Alrighty, i could do that, and eewgames, that's retarded, and anyone who would be lazy enough to just let a program make the maze without much effort is dumb.

Yes, I do know the maze generator. In fact, I know alot of browser-based maze generators that do not even required to be downloaded.

Anyway, thank you for your suggestion though.

first of all can i say im extremely sory that i never got back to you ...
truth be told i havent even started yet becasue i have just being revising for my gcse exams coming up in like 5 days

then im starting a new module in 2 subjects And my levels are slipping a bit so i really have to pay a lot more attention ...
im even cutting down on the ps3 ( im a real veghead(omg really ? ( yes really)))

in all fairness i think it would be wrong if you thought i was doing this for you .. even though i said i would i really do not think i will have the time to do this so i think you may want to find yourself another artist to do this for you

once again
sorry for my incompetence to do a quite simple task
