First things first,
Cover the hammer head in paint,
and bash the raffy a few times.

of course not!... i intend to be nice to my raffy buy ripping his back apart to make a snugger fit for my mindchamber idea... iv already made a hole where his "nose" was to make way for a new head... its going to be able to turn and be removable!!!... *hopefully thats what you were looking for luis :P*
picture update
please note im used to a lot smaller scale... *left side of picture* is what i normal paint... *right side* is the raffy head with my sketchmarks to work out stuff... :D

How'd you get the head off? From what I could tell it wasn't removable, do you intend to put it back on?
Here is how my raffy is looking...its a shitty blackberry pic

Oh, wow. You actually can pull that off. I'm very impressed and eager to see more progress!

put your hand around the head... and the other around the body... give it a good tug with alot of force untill it pops off... *sounds rude really*

main point of critique would be that it doesnt resemble the raffy a whole lot anymore.... I dont know how mindchamber feels about that, but I`d rather have the original ears and horns a bit more pronounced.

I understand what you mean. I thought about changing the design beacause I knew that it was no longer going to resemble a raffy. I decided to go with my original aproved concept. I chopped the ears off because my origanal concept didnt have ears.

Or bake it so it softens a bit

Woah woah woah!!

dont worry... its still there
sort off... :P
I'm wondering what I should do with the mouth. Either use the nose-bulb thing as giant teeth, or get rid of the whole bulb thing... that's tricky though since i've never worked with vinyl before.
any tips?

i would try and keep the figure as intact as possible... the only reason iv heavy changed it was beacuse i was going to something complex and different...
please note the figure is hollow inside so if you did cut the nose part off you would have to repair the hole you made... its much simpler to stick with the model intact!...

Ah, I'll just leave it intact then. I was already wondering if it was hollow or not. Thanks!
Sorry for the doublepost.
First work in progress! One tooth disappeared because of the lightning, but it is there.

I thought that was the point, then my raffi proposal's would have been more elaborate, with LED's and everything. If i figured i could cut the poor guy in half i would have cut off his legs an given him remote controlled wheels. (yes it would not be hard, would it not)

mabey the rules will be tightened next time around?... im trying to keep the basic raffy structure as intact as i can without losing the mindchamber idea i had... i can see what you meen about making it with bells and whisles galor but my main focus is still on painting the figure...
Gonna start my guy this weekend and next week, but until that time, heres the munny I got last year.
My webcam is really bad now. Not the best pic
