I am keeping the Art Portion in the art forum to keep things simple and organized. It just seems at home there =p.

Right now I am hosting an art collab in the art forum called the Getting Screwed Over Againart collab. Due to a lot of PMs I am getting with suggestions and contributions, I have decided to make this an art/flash collab. Lets give it a try and see how it works.

Except this time its not just screw related. Your part can also involve bolts, nails and nuts. Take some time to look over the art collab, the current thread and the first threadfor more info and inspiration.

What You Can Make:

Animation:

Depending on how many animations I receive their might be one of two outcomes for them.

(1)- if enough parts are received, then the animation portions will be a separate button on the menu and will play like a traditional collab.

(2)- If not enough parts are received then the animations will be placed into the art gallery as Easter Eggs. This will add excitement and a little more fun to the art gallery. Even if a lot of animations are received I would still like some of them to be Easter Eggs. So let me know if you want your part to be an Easter Egg.

Please limit your animation to under 30 secs in length. If it goes longer then that is fine, but I would prefer short little pieces. Just enough to tell a joke/story/etc and continue.

Mini Games:

I think this concept opens up a lot of great ideas for mini games! If you are interested please make one. Depending on how many are made will depend on where they go, i.e. menu, preloader, credits, etc.

Menu & Preloader:

Both of these are open to whomever wants to make them. If more than one person makes one or the other than the best one will be used. Simple as that.

Coauthor Spots:

Coauthor spots will be split in this fashion:

One spot is claimed for audio artist
Three spots open for Flash contributors
Five spots open for Art contributors

This can easily change depending on the quality of any submissions and the final selection will not be made towards the end of the collab.

Due Date:

Due date will be announced later this year.

i think our music guy is going to try it out, but please feel free to take a stab at it if you find yourself with some spare time. I am sure ill find a place to use it :)

your proportion is all wrong, the coloring effect is unappealing and drab

its just not a well-developed piece of artwork... if i could call it that :/

you should really put more than 3 minutes into art portal submissions

not to mention...

Mario is the most overused icon in any art submission portal. find something that isn't overdone to draw.

maybe come up with something original for once.
