Yes, potentially. Your own world only has like 26 of the legendary weapons. Most are random, so you'll have to scavenge in other player's worlds. Luckily for me I had a friend who got the game at launch who happened to have kept all the weapons. It was like my 4th achievement, lol.

That is pretty fortunate, I wasn't planning on going for 100% on that game anyway so I'm not too bothered about trying for them. But I should get back on that game, why did I start to like Black Ops II

Well my new PC is on the way and for the £500 it cost it's got some nice specs, which suit the kind of games I want to play. It's got a GeForce GT 630 4GB GPU which isn't the most high end but it can run games like Battlefield 3 and Skyrim which will be what I'll be playing the most I imagine.

So I may be a little less active on the Xbox, but I'm sure I'll still stick to some games on there, especially Rock Band.

Yeah they're giving away 2 games a month until the end of the year, one of the 1st of every month and one on the 16th. So far they're announced Fable III which is currently free, and Assassin's Creed II and Halo 3 are scheduled for July.

Well I just beat the Prologue on Easy, and it's very intriguing to say the least! I'm loving the atmosphere so far, it feels like a good mix of Alan Wake's and the first chapter of Resi 4's atmospheres. I don't find the combat clunky at all to be honest, it's pretty much exactly like the PS2 version of Resi 4's combat, and I've beaten that version of the game 50 times at least.

So yeah, Deadly Premonition so far feels refreshingly familiar yet utterly bizarre, looking forward to playing some more of it tomorrow!

Got another 70G from Fable III, and I think I'm nearing the end of the campaign so I should be getting a lot more gamerscore with that. I have to say I think it's a really enjoyable game, it's not what I was expecting but I'm pleasantly surprised. It's a lot of what I would hope to find in a favourite game.

Who was it that used to defend Alhpa Protocol as being a good game? There was definitely someone in this forum who really loved it because I remember him getting hate for it.

How can anyone like this game? There's way too much talking about some overly serious, non-interesting plot line. I honestly couldn't bring myself to pay attention long enough to understand what the point of this game is. Then there's the stealth. It sucks. It's like if one guy notices you or manages to punch you before you can take him down, all of a sudden everyone knows where you are. Maybe I'm just playing wrongly but I doubt it. Getting by unnoticed seems to be near impossible in some places too. You wait for one bad guy to move out the way so that you can climb down a ladder or something but as soon as he's out the way, some other guy strolls around the corner.

I like the concept of this game and I want to like it but I can't. Usually I wouldn't give up on a game so soon but I just cannot see this game getting and more interesting.

As for the game itself, I'll admit it has flaws, but overall I enjoyed it. It's an interesting concept, and I didn't have many problems when it came to sneaking around. Of course, this is coming from a guy who basically spec'd his first character for nothing but martial arts and ran around punching and kicking everything that moved, stealth optional, so there's that.

My fuckin friend told me Alpha Protocol was actually good and I ended up buying it. Recently I've found out that he just likes shitty games. ALIENS: COLONIAL MARINES, THE WALKING DEAD: SURVIVAL INSTINCT. He has the worst taste in games...

RightWingGamer mentioned AP in literally every second thread. He'd write paragraphs about how under appreciated it is.

I only spent £2.99 on it and that was a while ago. Only decided to play it because I beat LA Noire and I'm still waiting on Mafia II arriving in the post, so thought I'd give it a shot seeing as it's not meant to be a long game. It just got put back on my shelf where it will no doubt spend the rest of its days.

I recall getting it from Lovefilm one time and having somewhat high hopes, yet I sent it back the same day after about a half hour of being horribly bored. I guess it's just a very acquired taste.

Rather than play that abomination that is Alpha Protocol, I decided to finally play Darksiders 2 instead. I don't know why it has taken me so long to actually play it, because Darksiders was always one of my favourite games of this generation. The sequel so far seems to be a prime example of how you make sequels. It's more of the same, but definitely feels improved upon, and the original didn't really feel like it needed much improvement to begin with. Love this series. I hope we see games for the rest of the horsemen.

I still really need to get my hands on both Darksiders games. I've heard nothing but praise for them and they look great, i'm sure one day I'll get them and find out for myself. Just need some money.

Anyway I completed Fable III and honestly enjoyed it a lot. Despite it's obvious flaws I thought it was a fresh experience. At least for me, having not played a game much like that since Skyrim. I really enjoyed being able to do just about anything, getting married etc. It also had a great sense of humor. So now I'm excited for the Fable Anniversary to come out so I can see what it was like at the beginning, and then I'll give Fable II another go when I get a chance, because I only played that for about an hour or so, I think I'd be able to give it more of a chance now.

Got a few hundred G from it, plus an extra 50 for not getting knocked out once during the campaign. I think I'm going to go through and clear up some achievements today and maybe start on that Spartacus game that's free in the arcade right now.

I'll admit that I enjoyed Alpha Protocol my first playthrough, but I attempted a second one not to long ago.

And that lasted all of 30 minutes.

Revengence is in the post on its way, so looks like I'll be dusting off the ol' Xbox shortly.

Last I checked, you can get both on Amazon for about £10 each. You can probably get them for less on eBay. I'm sure I used to see copies of Darksiders 2 in Asda for like £10 too.

I should give Darksiders another go. I remember finding it annoying and giving up at the first boss, but I don't like zelda anyway.

Didn't you try to play it on the hardest difficulty through? I'd always play a game on the normal difficulty first. You're probably going to die a few times on Darksiders as it is, so playing on the hardest difficulty isn't really going to give you the best first impression.

I should've been playing Deadly Premonition today but I ended up playing Borderlands 2 and completing everything in the Pirate's Booty DLC instead! I'm tempted to do an all-nighter and finish off Campaign of Carnage and Hammerlock's Hunt too.

Nah, gamerscore is tied to your account so it's not going anywhere.

The only way you can lose achievements you've unlocked is if you get them while on someone else's console, while offline, and then recover your gamertag via live. Or something like that.

Beat Mafia 2 (again) in a day. Love this game but I wish it were longer. I was trying the Joe's Adventures DLC and I admit, I'm disappointed. The first mission started out alright and then, what is this, arcade style missions? Combos for kills and stuff like that? What is this? It's not Mafia 2, that's for sure. Maybe I'll go back and try to finish the DLC but I wasn't expecting this. Disappointing to say the least.

Well the new BO2 Zombies map is a complete joke in terms of difficulty when playing solo, but it's a lot more fun I was expecting it to be. Got all but two achievements on my first run of the map for 145g. Just trying to figure out a way to Pack-a-Punch a gun on round 1 while waiting for the easter egg to be finished with confirmation of whether it can be done in solo or not.

Xbox Live has a big sale on with some great discounts. But I think the best thing is that you can get Borderlands 2 for 400MSP and Far Cry 3 for 600MSP

It's worth noting that regarding BL2, Campaign of Carnage and the Ultimate Upgrade Pack are both half price as well at 400MSP and 200MSP respectively.

I really want Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon and CoJ: Gunslinger to get discounted, but I have a feeling that that isn't happening until Christmas.
