Around 2007 when playing flash games.
What do you most enjoy about the site?
The BBS and the Art portal.

I really don't know what I would fix, to be honest.

I don't know of anything that I would like to bring back, as I have only been here for 1 year.

I don't specifically enjoy one feature more than the other. I just love the original concept of a site built completely off of user-submitted content. Its like the wikipedia of entertainment and art.

I'd like to add some sort of 'skin' feature. That way, if you like, for example, the 2009 halloween page design, you can turn it on whenever you want.

Hmm. I really can't think of anything big that has disappeared. Wait, I miss the massive amounts of controversy over the seal-clubbing game, actually.

Uh in like 2002 or 2003. I was in the 7th or 8th grade and a friend of mine told me "Don't go to newgrounds.com because it has like porn and stuff on it" so being naturally curious I went anyway. It's a nice little "All in one" package of games, forums, and other randomness. Also, it mostly revolves around wasting time (which I love to do).

First I'd get rid of the gigantic ads on the front page because it's getting a little ridiculous. I understand they're profitable, but seriously, it's pissing me off. This place is so much better than IGN (ad-wise), which has sunk, really, REALLY, low.

I miss the old Flash portal animation where you could destroy incoming .swf's by clicking. Haha you have no idea how much time I wasted on that simple little interactive thing....

I'd heard kids talk about it since about 2000, but one of my friends got me to really look at the site around 2004 in the summer. I didn't make an account until 07 i think.

I love the community and seeing people interact; I especially love seeing Tom so passionate about his dream. Frankly, its hard not to get inspired by the story of newgrounds.

I would contact strawberryclock and we would have a party. I would fix the fucked up broken review system, start with making all of the review mods follow the exact same criteria (set forth by Wade). I would also re-evaluate each review mod for his position; most would probably be fired. The review system is seriously broken. I would also make icon mods actually do shit as well, and make their work visible so they don't seem so useless. I haven't made any icons because it seems the mods never approve them. Lastly, i would force Ross to update his blog once a week.

Add a submissions rule to stop annoying "crew" gropus, if an account submits over a certain
number of blammed items, they cant submit anymore, perhaps.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.
I first learned about Newgrounds around 2000/2001. It was a new site at the time and I saw a lot of it's Teletubbies features and thought they were hilarious.
Several years later, I, being interested in animations join Newgrounds.
I must say what I enjoy most are the people and the spirit of the community. Reading the comments on some of the Flash Animations is great, I love sending a PM to Egoraptor and *gasp* actually getting a response, and the best thing I saw was the author of Bambee becoming an animator at Dreamworks. I only hope I can ever be as successful.
What I would change if I had one day? I honestly can't think of anything, I love the site and I would only do more (Post on forums a lot, review a lot of content). I wouldn't specifically change anything with Newgrounds. Newgrounds is what I know and love.
What I miss: Waiting eagerly for a new Decline of Video Gaming. Those really got me into Newgrounds and animating and I sincerely miss seeing a new one every year or two. It was great while it's lasted and I sorely miss seeing it on the Top 50. I am VERY excited for Tarboy 2 however...
