this site looks awesome, but i admit im a bit bewildered. i really wanna work on these types of games but lack all of the know how. hopefully someday i will be able to afford a good flash maker, but in the meantime, id love to be an artist while i learn the ropes.
i made some graphics for a zombie mmorpg that i love. (although he said he would use them, he hasnt got around to coding it yet)

I'm not good at distinguishing the different ways of art. Wut kind of painting is it? Is it on a computer program or by hand? (Actual paint and brush, not smart-handed answer like, my hand is used for guiding the mouse) This is all good. I envy...you.

thanks, im using gimp2.6. its a freeware image manipulator like photoshop.
It looks good, although I think it could use a bit more definition... it all looks a bit blurry to me now.

i try to make it as realistic as i can, and i am a noob, not even been doin this for a year. ive done lots of works though. i dont wanna neglect the rules i dont understand or etiquette i dont know. but i got 3 photobuckets if anyone wants to see em. 8]

what did you actually do in this picture, did you do the painting? or just added yourself to it.
Im curious to know what did you actually do, because the last photo chops are pretty shit.
the first is from a drawing i did a long time ago, and a couple pics i took.

this next one i had to shrink and posterize to post. its from a couple old drawings too, as were my second and fourth posts. the third, stairway pic was from over 30 image search sources, all completely redrawn, restreched, and recolored so they have nothing to do with their original works.
this is a suggestion in a online game i play for a swapshop, i had to shrink it way down to post here.
I really have a hard time believing that the same person who did the first painting also did all the other crappy photoshops.

the girl in front of the dawn of the dead scene was a sig for a chick on some dolly game. it was her dolly i zombiefied. christopher vulcan was a joke, as was the starving children thing.
the first post was not a painting, its for my book. it started as a sketch and got trees and my face from pics i took added.
may this end the interrogation, that i may make some graphics for someones game?
more from my book, im really here because i wanna make a cartoon or movie out of it. :)
