Little lad, you have so much to learn about life... I'm sure that you've learned a great deal in your meager 14 years old existance, but you still have loads to learn about people generally.
One thing you seem to have missed out on learning on the Pokémon-forum you yourself left when you a full year ago decided to try out your then 13 years old brand new rebel-flavoured puberty-wings, is that in any forum you come across, you should keep the insults and flaming down, as these things are sure to get you banned.
Another thing that you obviously missed at Poké-school is that if you want to be taken seriously in a discussion, said flamings will only help to prevent your case and point to come across.

If I wish to be taken serious in a discussion, I type my best and stay within the boundary of the BBS-rules (or I'll get banned like everyone else).

My style of modding is rather laid back, mainly because I'm too lazy to ban people and shit lololol. But in all seriousness, my philosophy is that since this is a forum, we WANT people to post here. And if people are banned, they can't do that. However, if you break the rules and intererupt good discussion, attack other users etc. you don't deserve the priviledge of posting on these PRIVATE boards. Hence, lolban will commence.
Other mods may be a little more hard when it comes to upholding the rules and don't look between the fingers with things. Perhaps all mods should be like this, or at least mod the same for any offence, sure, but in the cases where I rather free than ban, it's users who well knows the rules, and it's a risk they take - and the offences are often regarded by me as very minor. If there was a way to warn instead of 1-day ban, I'd use that alot (PM system don't cut it, tried that and quickly lost track of all warned users degrading the warnings to pointless talking in some cases...).

I personally think that it's a good thing there are many different individuals and personalities who moderate this place, as it brings more character and personality to the community. And frankly, when it comes down to it the rules that matter the most, all mods WILL deal with properly.

So yes, I let alot of small things go, as I myself break MINOR rules now and then. Often because it's seem suiting and such, but if I myself do go overboard and mass-post full allcaps stuff, I'll simply end up banned myself.

Fuck off, I just ban myself for a suiting amount of days. Then if the ban is too hard, I reason with myself to get it lowered, but that don't always work -:(

In conclution, little lad whom I quoted at the beginning of this post, if you don't have anything else than negative bullshit to come with, don't bother posting here. If you have a point you wanna make clear, do it without the 14-year old forum-bitterness you seem to have too much of.

i may not be successful, but i personally really try not to be a "fun police". what's the point of a "general forum" if so? general is supposed to be a fun and relaxed place. of course there are rules and guidelines to follow, but the whole essence is supposed to let people have a good time and strengthen the community.

to add, the above comment and my previous post is something that I stand for, the other mods and staff may have a different opinion on the various matters i touched.

I know, when I posted that I was thinking of a few mods who were the exceptions to that and you're definitely one of them. I get it if someone is spamming racial slurs or posting porn but if it's just a thread where everyone is kind of fucking around and just joking I don't see how it's detrimental to the bbs to the point where someone would need to delete it and ban everyone in it who posted.
