I grew up in Maryland, and there it was ALWAYS soda. But almost everyone here in Kansas says pop. It gets on my nerves. Also, "bags" are "sacks".
I say soda, I know someone who says 'Fizzy drinks' though. He thought soda was stupid sounding.
you're sayin this because of my post aren't you? I say pop, and I am from Zentori 5. I can also speak hylian.

I was raised in MN, and most people call it pop. People in india say soda pop, weird huh.

cherry garcia: its like having an angel cum in your mouth
Shut up already.
Its soda where I'm from. When people ask if I want a pop, I get confused.
I live in Michigan and everyone here says "pop." I personally use "soda" whenever I can just because I think it sounds more correct and I don't look like an idiot to the rest of the world.

My dad is from england and he always says soft drink
But I always say soda...along with everyone else in my family.
I call it soda, it annoys me when people call it pop. It annoys me even more when people call it soda-pop. PICK ONE GODDAMMIT! DONT SAY BOTH!
I personally say soda. In the MidWest though they call it Soda Pop.
oh an also... here in Denver people say POP... which is gay
The only thing more annoying than calling soda "pop"...is calling a sandwich a "poor boy"
Whenever a sandwich is called a poor boy, it becomes 10x less appetizing.

No we call it pop. No one says soda pop, thats just stupid
sheesh y'all, t'was a dream!
Here in the midwest, it's pop, and if you say anything else, you're fuckin' high.
My Frenchness would tend to call it soda.
Or soft drink, because that's what's written in fast food restaurants.
My signature was old so I changed it.
I think soda is a more of a north-eastern term, and pop is a very southern, midwest type of word. I'm not sure about the pacific coast but i'm gonna guess they use soda.
In California, I've heard it called soda, I've heard in called pop and one person called it sody pop... that guy isn't alive anymore sadly. You just can't go around calling it sody pop.
