How long can I stay up?

I'm gonna see how long i can stay up. I'm not talking about just tonight, i hope to get far into tomorrow night with this. My previous record for staying up is 40 hours. I have been up since around 8:30 this morning, so in my time i've been up for 13 1/2 hours. I guess i'll post sometime every hour so you know im still awake. so anyone wanna join me?

That's a good question. I thing if you don't lay down, and keep on watching tv or something, then you should stay up. And eat food.

That would be a good idea... IF Newgrounds had sticky threads. Which they don't. Sometimes I wonder why they don't implement some useful forum features, such as that and editing posts...

Anyway, I would just try and walk around/stimulate the mind as much as possible, and eat. That usually does it.

im not even gonna chance tv, i will just crash. but i have an ample supply of hot pockets and cereal. though my crudely made bed will definately look tempting later on.

TV's not a good idea.

I've fallen asleep sitting up and watching TV. TV's mind numbing and is pretty easy to fall asleep to.

Keep your mind occupied. Play videogames, read, draw, write, go on the bbs, etc. Anything that can keep you busy.

Drink caffeine, but not too much of it or you'll crash. Avoid sugar, definitely. Sugar will make you crash hard. Eat just enough to give you the right energy, but don't overeat because it will make you tired.

Don't expend too much energy at once. Don't do a lot of exorcising.

Yes... I know... It's going to get abused, because people will change everything they said to circumvent rules etc.

We don't have post editing because people would abuse it, even when it comes to their own posts.

People could use the feature to weasel their way out of mistakes they made in arguments, conflicts with mods, conflicts with other users, or just for the hell of it.

Just make sure to edit before you post. A typo isn't the end of the world. If your typo makes something unintelligible, then just clarify in a second post.

And as far as stickies go, the reason behind that is that there are so many official threads that there's no use in it. If we were to sticky all the threads that were sticky-worthy, the first two pages would be completely sticky threads. Plus, It just doesn't look appealing.

Thats why its called BBS rather than Forum. Its old. An edit system would break the back of this crippled old system.
