basicly, what i think the flash authors did was make it so it activated a link in the flash movie that posted a reply to another flash video... it had nothing to do w/ passwords, and im assuming would only affect logged in users... while it took some genious on the part of the offenders, why not gain some legitimate credibility by relaying this exploitation of NG to someone?

Yea I sure Liljim going to have his hands full fixing all the loop holes this idiot been exploting. I helped flag several of those movies last night. I glad the bs and reviews are cleaned up now. I never watched any of those movies. I probably wouldn't be a bd idea for peopel to chage passwards. Even though I know Ng now uses encryption to help prevent a movie from stealing passwords.

Um, I don't know if this is related to this malicious submission, but the other day, after viewing an entry, something changed my homepage to one with tons of popups and a Notepad window even opened up and said I had spyware on my computer.

I have noticed that there seem to be more hackers around than usual, I wish I could find a place to report them, there is one im trying to deal with at the moment. But what gets me is why are these people sad enough to do this? Here we are, trying to watch flash movies and other things and have our own peace and people come along to spoil it!

Something is certainly rotten in the state of Newgrounds. I think people have also found a way to auto-vote on submissions. I don't know much about php, but I do know a lot about scripting in general, and it seems plenty plausible to me. They've also found a way around viewing judgement submissions before viewing them. This, I am sure of.

Errr, that was supposed to be "voting on judgement submissions before viewing them". Sorry for the double post, but that needed clearing up.
Erm, i think another one just got posted then, because i was reading someones review when suddely about 5 windows popped up all different movies and it started doing something i dunno what but the loading bar was going up in all of them. I dont know if i actually pressed alt_f4 in time but dont blame me for malicous reviews.
