For some reason "latest 5 submissions" doesn't sounds right. Maybe i'm just nuts but I think "Last 5 submissions" or "5 latest submissions sound alot better.

last 5 sounds cheezy. think 'newest submissions' sounsd beter, numbers are icky :P. i'd show the top submissions of the day like that too, getting rid of the p-bot post, and moving the latest news up. thats just me though.

I like gobblez's idea. "Latest" or "Recent" Portal Submissions would work nicely. The idea about moving the p-bot into a similar format is also a good idea. It'd look much cleaner, because the p-bot box is always so spaced out looking. The only major problem would be that there probably wouldn't be room for the first place "Also known for plug" - which is a nice feature because it helps resurrect an author's old works. The weekly portal awards ought to be on the homepage too, though other than the turd of the week, they usually end up as homepage features anyway.

liljim, thank you ! This update works perfectly. Few hours ago I uploaded one flash - it appeared on front page and now I already have more than 1,100 viewiers. Just compare with my other submissions. First one was uploaded almost year ago and it still haven't 1,000 viewiers.

The new update will undoubly bring these flash some more exposure, but also something with a familiar name, like Sonic, automaticly gets more views, then something with an unfamiliar name.
