Wow, you are doing this for more than 6 years now. That is quite some dedication and you still keep it up even with already leaving the list. Thank you very much for it.
I was always complaining about the people who are inactive on the list, where it is a wall of | +00000 | all the time and therefore I want to ask for a removal of myself. I will quit collecting medals and not come back to it. It is in my opinion unnecessary to list me further. Still, it is your choice if you prefer a more active list since the official ranking exists or not.
Do I see it right? You really want to quit? For last few weeks I was observing your epic week-to-week duel with Nijsse wondering if/when you will catch him as you declared.
I know that medals collecting can take a toll, the last @fuckoffasshole 's posts show a part of it. I also must say that I don't remember a week when I did not earn anything, it is some kind of a pressure (?) of being on the list. Currently it will take me some time to catch MadMath, but the duel with @akajackfrost makes it interesting since he just won't let go and one week I am higher, one time it's his turn (like this week when I had less time for earning medals).
Maybe you are just partially tired and you will return after getting some rest? Personally I think that if you'll leave it would be a big loss for the list, I also have a great respect for your inputs in regard to broken medals and other issues related to games with medals.
About the people that stopped earning medals: IF they should be removed it is a question for how long they would have to be inactive? And if they would return should they be treated as returners? Maybe there could be an "active players only" list, but would it make sense to create a list like this?
I personally think that if somebody once earned enough points then should stay on the list. I once made a comparison between the list and a snooker ranking (if people know how it works), in this situation I can make another one: in snooker ranking even if player stops playing as long as he has enough points he is being listed, this is why two already legendary players like Stephen Hendry and Steve Davis are still being included.
