I hope this happens. I am phasing out of the BBS (I've visited a lot today I suppose but that's cos of my attempt to make an ED page) and that would make me probably stop visiting NG. However, a literature portal would be perfect.
Also, all these posts and shit - I'd kinda rather that the BBS went so that all my posts could be lost. Occasionally I try and find a good story I wrote or something but I think they're more of a rl hindrance, especially as we all become more googleable.
So yes, despite the postcount, do it.

Just because you're ready to get up the BBS doesn't mean we all are. It's just what everyone will do in the end, just at different stages, and as always they will be replaced by new people. Nothing lost, nothing gained. Congratulations for reaching it?
