Unfortunately, I checked the system specs of a modern Mac-Pro. And it's specifications own my computer's. I actually think a 2.93GHz Processor with an idle power of somewhere around 3.30 is good. Because, it's around 0.35GHz faster than my computer's processor. As well as the FUCKING FOUR Slots to insert hard disks. Up to 4TB of storage, I'm not even going to compare my computer's HDD to 4TB. I feel so sad now.
It is also WAY overpriced. You could get a PC with those specs (or assemble/upgrade one) for much less than the cost of that computer.
Well, I checked to see the prices, and I was amazed. A full $2899 for the quad core processor computer. But if you want an 8-core(Holy fuck, I've never heard of the godlike power of an 8-core processor!), it costs $3799! By the way, the processors are 2.93GHz Each, that's more than my computer (Single-core) has, then times eight!
But anyways, I went on ebay, and looked up a bunch of fast computer parts, just to compile the cost of it. Also, that new Ipod shuffle is amazingly small.
Overall Price of Comparable computer
-Video Card = 56
-Ram = 44
-Processor = 276
-Motherboard = 80
-Sound Card = 8
-Hard Drive = 128 X4 to equal the power of Mac's 4TB = 512
-DVD Drive = 50
-Power Supply = 45
All of that equals $1071. I've heard Mac products use 512MB Video Cards, I threw in a 1GB Video card to balance the fact how I couldn't find any 2.93+ Quad core processors. But still, HALF THE PRICE! Also, I can't believe they could produce a 2.93 x 8 processor...
Now compare 1071 to 2799... Yeah, you were right.
