Zune to iTunes Mar 7, 2009

Well, a while ago, I dropped my zune in my toilet. But that's another story...

Anyways, I have a bunch of music on my Zune library, but I can't get it to my iTunes library to get music on my old original nano. There's no copy and paste on zune, and I can't drag and drop either. I've heard burning everything to CD's and then ripping them to iTunes works, but I'm all out of blank CD's, and they can only hold around 40 some songs anyways. So, I was wondering if there was anyway to get my music on my Zune library to my iTunes library.

BTW, I checked my "my music" folder, and I don't have anything there except the shit I ripped off of CD's. I'm on XP too.

But I thought you couldn't delete stuff off CD's after you write them to it...

Go to wherever you stored the music (libraries are just link connections to files on your comp) even if it isn't in the my music folder it has to be somewhere. Add them all to your itunes library.

If you don't want to go to all of that trouble try googling it. There is probably some third-party program out there to transfer files from the Zune library to iTunes.

I've searched everywhere. The only thing I can think of is my "shared" folder, since I used to use Limewire, but stopped since I found out that people can use it to get inside you computer, plus I got a virus from it. But I deleted all the contents of my shared folder a while ago.

I did that before I came here, and the only thing I can find is iTunes to Zune, but not the other way around.

If you have CD+RW, you can. If its CD+R, whatever is burned on the disc will always be there.

Yup. I just checked. That's what I got. You can't even flash drive shit on Zune. This makes no sense. Why would microsoft make it so you can't take music you payed for and put them in a folder other than their library. It's not like that prevents you from stealing it or something. It doesn't make sense to have you buy all of your music over again because you're switching devices. Grrrr.... I feel like punching someone...

Oh does it? Sorry, I have never bought anything from the iTunes store. Sorry
