Thats not entirely correct. It actually IS at the TOP priority, the problem with that portal is that it needs to be done from scratch.

Well there's empirical evidence suggesting one dude can teach himself php and have pretty much an entire portal built in less than a year.

How long has the audio portal been broken, and how many coders do they have?

just saying.

Then why wasnt the last redesign flawless. I remember there were tons of problems at the start

That's probably why it's taking longer. You know, so they don't make the same mistakes again, that sort of thing.
Has it taken longer than it should have, probably. Things like castle crashers, the art portal, new forums, other features for the next redesign, and probably plain old goofing off got in the way. Yeah guys, they were probably goofing off on your audio portal time.
So either trust them and wait for it, or don't and stop expecting it to come. Because it's never going to come, and they're going to close the audio portal for good in a few years.

Besides, just because the few things we discussed in that topic were directly addressed by the staff soon after doesn't mean anything. One of us could have just read the topic, especially after all of the complaints it would make sense for them to look into it.

Want to see something outstanding ?

Eric Whitacre put together a choir of 185 singers from 12 countries who never sang together until their voices were edited together. They all recorded their parts separately, most of them with a camera not with a professional microphone, still, when you listen it's simply outstanding !!!
Eric Whitacre's Virtual Choir - 'Lux Aurumque'

How he did it ?

What's the difference between modern, post-modern, and post-postmodern?

Since people started putting the word post in front of any genre they want in order to make their "new and unique" form of music sound more intellectual. It's a lot like bands adding the word core at the end of whatever genre of metal they create in order to make themselves sound more edgy.

Metalcore - the most redundant moronic name for a genre I've ever heard of.

Post modernism isn't simply a genre of music...there's a whole movement behind it, and you'd be surprised at how long it's been around for.

As for metalcore...ehhh, makes sense to me. Metal music with hardcore influences.
