This is really nice, calming music. Definite protag starting village/ small town RPG vibes. Nice work, man.
Phew, this was a lot more work than I thought, but it was worth it. This is my submission for the SNES Music Contest. I made this primarily to show my thanks to the video game composers that inspired me to become a composer myself. This includes the guest judges. I remember spending a lot of late nights just playing video games, and humming the tunes when I was at school. So thanks for making my childhood a happy one. I hope you all inspire more people for many years to come.
About this song:
I sampled a single note for each instrument from the Korg M1. This synthesizer was originally released in 1988, and was very popular through the 90's. Once I had the short samples reduced in quality, I made loop points for the sustained instruments, and finally inserted them into the C700 VST.
I hope you all enjoy. It was a lot of fun to make.

Ah this is really nice. Really nailed the vibe of a starting village in a JRPG. Well done!
There's slight clipping in the horn section around 30s that's quite noticeable but that's the only thing I notice that is anything slight wrong with the track. Definitely reminds me of something like Harvest Moon. Very good work. 5/5
Omg so cozy.
I'm gonna agree with Lucasberry here that it does sound a bit more polished than SNES but all in all a well accomplished composition.
This looks like a GBA or NDS soundtrack. But good job!
