I have decided to go a little outside my comfort zone and make this track. Normally I do more cinematic stuff, but this time I decided to do something more in the realm of video games.

This reminded me of the old JRPG game soundtrack so much. :O Excellent work.

I swear the arpeggios are so fucking awesome.

AceMantra responds:

Thanks for dropping by! The arpeggios are my favorite part of this piece. It took me a little while; I did them all note by note with the pencil tool in FL.

Reminds me a lot of Final Fantasy I and V boss music, would not be out of play for an XIV raid boss either. I feel like this would be a song that gets played during a final boss battle in the game. I hear bits of Battle on the Big Bridge from time to time too.

AceMantra responds:

Thank you for your kind words! I really like the music from all of the Final Fantasy games. My favourite tracks being from VII and VI. I found a lot of inspiration in Nobuo's earlier works, as well as some from Beethoven, and Disturbed.
Thanks again for listening! Glad you enjoyed it. :)

There are many pleasant surprises melodically. I love when the melody continually rises at the end.

The mixing is excellent. It feels soft and velvety, and it's not too loud which is a common problem.

The structure is perfect. The entire piece feels cohesive, and there's just the right amount of variation.

I don't have any criticism. The execution is near perfect as far as I can tell.

AceMantra responds:

Thanks, friend! It really means a lot! :)
