Okay, let's be real here. Many of you are probably thinking this is just me being a weeb or me being into Zero Two. I mean, who in the world who doesn't actually watch the series care about it for any reason other than Zero Two, popularly considered one of the higher ranked waifus in all of anime.
In a sense, there's truth to your argument if you say this. However, my remixing this actually has nothing to do with Zero Two at all, and in fact, she's only referenced in the art for this upload because she's the most recognizable character from the show. Thing is, while I actually don't watch anime at all (aside from my being in the room while my oldest brother watches JJBA and Attack on Titan, literally the only shows he watches anymore), I have been meaning to do a remix of an anime song for a while. And I've been asked MANY times on Discord and even IRL to remix "Golden Wind" from JJBA part 5. I totally understand why this is being requested, but I didn't go ahead with it because I don't feel the song translates into EDM all that well. Likewise, I've also been asked to remix "This Game" from No Game No Life; this one, I might do in the future, but am hesitant to do because I know this gets remixed quite a bit and so I feel like I'm beating a dead horse if I do it. But then I look into songs from Darling in the Franxx (which, for the record, is the one anime/manga I still think about getting into, and not even just for Zero Two; I looked up the basic premise on Wikipedia and honestly think I'd like the show), and I ran into the original version of this song... I basically had my work cut out for me on this one, TBH. EASILY translates into EDM, so of course, this had to be the one I picked. Overall, I really enjoyed making this, and I hope you enjoy listening! :D
